The data was analysed as structural equation models according to a dyadic analysis method called Actor Partner Interdependence Model. Results No relationship was found between trait emotional intelligence and emotion recognition of valence or arousal. Follower trait emotional intelligence was positively related to supervisor joviality and supervisor trait emotional intelligence was nearly statistically significantly positively related to follower joviality. Neither partners’ trait emotional intelligence was related to actor serenity.
