    This study observes the development of the sense of rhythm among children and the use of rhythmic music instruments in kindergartens. The purpose of this study is to gather information about how and in what age does children’s sense of rhythm develop and in what ways can the sense of rhythm be developed. This study aims to find out what kinds of rhythmic musical instruments are being used in kindergartens and also in what sort of situations and how they are being used. This was a qualitative study and the research method was interview. Four kindergarten teachers were being interviewed and all the interviews were transcribed. The interviews were half-structured theme interviews. The method of analysis was content analysis. Even new-borns have developed a sense of rhythm and often it is better compared to many adults. The sense of rhythm can be developed with the help of different exercises, such as playing and listening music or moving in different ways in rhythm. The supply of rhythmic musical instruments in kindergartens was discovered to be good and rhythm related activities are being organized in all kindergartens part of the study.
