    Objectives. The purpose of this research was to find out how a child’s celiac disease has affected to everyday life from the parents´ point of view. Previous research has found out that adapting to celiac disease requires time and knowledge about the disease. Adapting to celiac disease has been researched before, for example from children’s’ point of view. Researches about parents´ point of view has not been made before. This research has two keywords: celiac disease and control of everyday life. The theory includes studies of celiac disease, treatment, experiences of celiac disease in everyday life and the model for control of everyday life. Methods. This research was made using a qualitative method. The research was analyzed using guided theory content analysis. The data was collected from a Facebook group called “Keliakia” using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent to the parents who´s child has celiac disease. Thirteen parents, both mothers and fathers, participated in the research. Results and conclusion. The results of this research were coherent with previous researches. The most important result were the parents´ experiences of organizing their home again after the diagnosis, changes in cooking, eating out and high prices of gluten free products. The results of this research have some variation. Some of the respondents experienced that there were no changes in everyday life after the diagnosis, except in reorganizing the home. Some of the respondents experienced that there were changes and problems with organizing the home, cooking gluten free meals, eating out and high prices of gluten free products.
