    Objectives. There are no previous researches of kindergarten teachers’ views about work education on children under three years. The main purpose of this study was to describe and analyse what kind of views kindergarten teachers has about work education on children under three years. The goal was to clarify how work education is implemented narrated by kindergarten teachers and what kind of goals work education has. Additionally is explained the meaning of work education for children under three years. Methods. This study was conducted as a qualitative research. The research material was collected by using a theme interview. Three kindergarten teachers who lived in Uusimaa were interviewed. The material was analysed by using content analysis. Results and conclusion. Work education was mostly implemented by small tasks as well as tasks related to dining situations. Work education goals related to the learning and support about independence and autonomy. Exploitation of young children enthusiasm also showed one of the goals. The meaning of work education separated the present work education, as well as the former. Before the implementation of work education was easier and more flexible. Nowadays there are no term ”work education” because it is included in other content areas.
