The aim of this research was to find out about daycare nurses perceptions of their own work and its formation, as well as the multi-professional co-operation in a kindergarten. Work patterns in many kindergartens have been determined according to shifts or team's own preferences, so I wanted to hear what daycare nurses think about their own job descriptions. There is also confusion in the work of various occupational groups, which is why I went to investigate. Previous studies have shown that unclear job impressions influence the enjoyment of work and willingness to stay in their current post. The study was conducted with qualitative research methods. The study material was collected with a structured theme interview in a kindergarten in Uusimaa. There were three practical nurses interviewed who have been working for more than five years in their post. Two have graduated from a vocational college with a nursing degree examination and one through an apprenticeship, also as a nursing assistant. The interviews were analyzed using the content analysis. The results of the survey showed that the nurses in the day-care center considered that the job descriptions were clear as well as functional from the point of view of the group. The job descriptions and tasks were determined slightly different in a group, but without the leader's involvement in the decision. Multiprofessionalism was seen as a collaboration between different professional groups. Outside the team for example special therapists are involved in the activities of groups to support the growth of children. To get more information, it would also be interesting to interview the groups kindergarten teachers about how their job descriptions are formed.
