Working life has challenged organizations and their employees with new demands on working life competence. Employees have to be more efficient and self-directed. Along the new claims for working life, work-related well-being has become more important than ever. Nevertheless, annual costs caused by work-related ‘unwell-being’ are substantial. Work-related well-being is a complex phenomenon, which consist of many different factors. Using temporary agency work-ers is increasingly popular in today’s working life. There are three parties in to a temporary agency work employment relationship, which can be a challenge when considering the support for work-related well-being. This bachelor’s thesis studies factors of work-related well-being among agency workers (AW) in agency and customer companies, and if they experience work engagement. Research material is collected by interviewing AWs working in the same agency and customer companies. The mate-rial is analyzed with content analysis. The analysis was supported by Marja-Liisa Manka’s mod-el for work-related well-being. Analysis shows that the customer company supports AWs’ well-being widely. The most signifi-cant factor of well-being is reliable and pleasant work community. The agency company doesn’t have any supporting factors of well-being. The AWs also find their relationship with the agency distant and challenging. The AWs don’t experience work engagement. The results show that AWs’ work-related well-being was supported only by the customer com-pany. AWs don’t experience work engagement because they don’t find their work meaningful. The results can be used as a base to develop AWs work-related well-being in the agency compa-ny. Employees’ well-being is the most significant resource for organizations, which is why work-related well-being should be invested in.
