    Aim of this study is to determine the students' views of the cosiness of the learning environment. Previous studies shows that the lighting, coloring, social behavior and functionality plays a big role in the cosiness of the classroom. The research question of this study is to find out the factors that makes students feel cosiness in the learning environment in textile classroom. The method of this thesis is qualitative. Instead of statistical generalization this study aims to describe the phenomenon. The probe study is one of the newest user research methods and it is based on a participatory self-documentation with different probe assignments. The study involved six seventh grade students. The collected data was analyzed by dividing it to four themes: lighting, coloring, social behavior and functionality. Different themes was approached with content analysis. The study is based on analysis of the existing theory, so the content analysis has been theory-driven. Result of the study is that a cosy classroom is bright, warm, quiet, organized, colorful, soft, stimulating, inspiring and has lots of character. In students opinion uncomfortable class is dark, colorless, hard, boring, confusing, impersonal, noisy, cold and restless
