Ala-Härkönen, Hanna-Riikka (2017)This Master´s Thesis defines positive education and childrens character strengths based learning. It will also tell about VIA survey and its use with children. This study is made by using a qualitative research and evaluation methods. The data of this study was collected by interviewing Lotta Uusitalo-Malmivaara who is a university lecturer and adjust professor in special education at department of Teacher Education, Faculty of Behavioral Sciences in University of Helsinki. The interview was taped on a video and it was held in February 2016. The results of this study shows that in teaching and in education the main focus should be in the childrens character strengths.
