Physical activity has been shown to have a very significant role in child’s growth and development. This research answers to the question: how physical activity’s positive influence on child’s growth and development shows in documents guiding early childhood education? This research was conducted using mixed methods research combining both qualitative and quantitative features. Document’s data is analyzed by content analysis. Data about physical activity’s positive influences is categorized in three categories. Then indicator made for this research was used to measure how the influence on child’s growth and development was shown in selected documents. Based on this research physical activity’s positive influence on child’s growth and development is not showing in a very comprehensive way in documents selected for this research. There is also differences on how comprehensive physical activity’s positive influence on child’s growth and development shows in between these documents.
