The meaning of this research is to screen the thoughts of early childhood educators and the outside activities in kindergarten. The recommendations of the new childhood physical acti-vity (2016) gives instructions, that children should be physical active three hours a day. In my research, I am screening if the new recommendations had an influence of the groups outside policy. Former researches has shown children being most physical active during outdoor activities. As the essential research problem I set (1) are the outdoor activities enough in kindergarten. As a secondary problem I research (2) what is the sufficient amount of outdoor activity during kindergarten. As well as (3) what are three common reasons for the outdoor activities to be left out of the daily program. This research is a qualitative form. In my research participated 166 responders. The collec-ting of the material was accomplished in an enclosed facebook group named ”Varhaiskas-vattajan materiaalipankki” . As the research form I used the University of Helsinki´s E-form. All the responders are working in kindergarten. The responders were selected voluntarily and by their own interest of the research matter. As the analysis of the matter is analysis content. As the main results of my research I achieved, that the sufficient amount of daily outdoor ac-tivity for children during the daycare should be twice or more. This was the answer of over 80 % of the responders. Over 87 % of the responders, were satisfied of the amount of the outdoor activities. In this question, about 3 % were more satisfied of their own group, com-pared to the outdoor activities of the whole daycare. The reason for not having outdoor acti-vities, mostly mentioned (1) the weather (2) parties, some common occasion, indoor plays, small group activity, (3) the result of the decision made by an adult. In almost 46 % of the groups outdoor policy, are influenced by the new recommendations of physical activity. As a conclusion, it can be noticed, that the opinion of the early childhood educators in Finnish daycares are, that the outdoor activity is sufficiently.
