Objectives. The purpose of this study is to examine the meanings physiotherapists give for Education. Education in this context means the occupation of preliminary training and vocational and continuing Education and vocational Training courses in the workplace. The main target is to examine the Education that aims to professional skills after the Physiotherapist Qualification. This research will allow physiotherapists describe their own perspectives to Education and Training. With this research I try to point out new ideas to the practical operation of the development, in particular in to the Education needs assessment, planning and implementation support. Methodology. The data was collected by interviewing six physiotherapists, who voluntarily chose to participate in the study. The interviewees were working all in the City of Vantaa's rehabilitation unit and in physiotherapy. Material was analyzed with content analysis, which means I was trying to get the material out of content and the deeper significance of meanings for the item. I reviewed the findings of the analysis of any particular theory or light. The interpretations and conclusions rose from the interviews. Results and conclusions. These key results can be said that Education is seen to be both positive and conflict-generating meanings for physiotherapists. Positive meanings of Education are to ensure your skills, coping at work and work management. The importance of Education can be seen in the same professional circles, however, in different ways in different individuals and the meanings of diversity and duplication will bring the sense of contradiction for physiotherapists. Education itself can help physical therapists to verify his or her professional skills, deepen their clinical knowledge and thereby help to control work. Though Education and Training is not in the same manner for all possible. As it seems that it is possible to influence your own work through Education and Training, it can cause inequality in the workplace.
