    In this study the significances of the high-quality early childhood education in the group under of the three-year-old are examined. The objective of the study was to clarify why the high-quality early childhood education is important in the group under of the three-year-old. In the study it is clarified in addition to this which methods the kindergarten teacher guarantees high-quality early childhood education in in the group of the small. The central starting point for the study is the fact that the small child only benefits from the early childhood education when it is of high quality. In the study the kindergarten teachers' views on why the quality of the early childhood education is important for the kindergarten smallest kids. The material was collected with theme interviews as the bottom of which a semi-structured interview body served. The interviewee was altogether three kindergarten teachers who worked in the group under of the three-year-old. The material was analysed on a aineistolähtöinen content analysis. Theme wholenesses which had risen and answered the research problems of the study were collected in the material forth with its help. The research results showed that the kindergarten teachers considered the professional skill of the teacher important. The kindergarten teachers also emphasised the help brought by the education, to act as the team in charge. Every one of the interviewees emphasised that the high-quality early childhood education creates the foundation for the child's future years and for human relations. The kindergarten teachers considered important the fact also that the school year should be whole under three-year-old so that it would support the ability under of the three-year-old to create the permanent human relations and vertaissuhde and the staff's and the children's turnover's minor. The Pienryhmätoiminta was seen important in the high-quality early childhood education under of the three-year-old. This way it was possible for the teachers to observe and to support the children more individually than in the situations of the whole group. Also the cooperation with the parents was seen extremely important. It was stated that the kindergarten teachers were responsible for the maintaining of the interaction so that the confidential cooperation would function between a parent and the varhaiskasvattaja. The study shows that the high-quality early childhood education is important in the group under of the three-year-old. With the help of the quality it is concentrated on the skills of the social and of the an age levels of the children, on the learning and on the individual needs. The kindergarten teachers regarded as to guarantee high-quality early childhood education under of the three-year-old in the group that they need the support of a team, leader and parents for the carrying out of it.
