This study is a rewiew of factors that support emotional education in primary school. Emotional education is an important topic for me because I will graduate as a classroom teacher in the future. It's also a current topic today. Research method of this study is descriptive literature review and more closely narrative review. The material of this study consists of previous research and scientific articles both in English and in Finnish. Based on this review can be said that current Finnish curriculum, interventions of emotional education and teachers' emotional skills support emotional education in primary schools. Emotional education is an important part of Finnish national core curriculum. In addition the interventions of emotional education increase and develop pupils' emotional skills. It's also important that teachers know their own emotional skills and their effect on pupils and the atmosphere of classroom.
