Value promises and value profiles correlate weakly. The thesis introduces a measure for the similarity between the two. The measure shows clearly that the similarities exists. Never the less, the promises are only able to predict the profiles very weakly. The value promises had a clear over representation of universal values compared to the value profiles. The reasons behind this discrepancy remains unclear.
