    The objective of this review was to assess the amount of study that has been done on implementing clinical guidelines in Finland and to test the usability of a newly developed framework for implementation research. In the review included was 6 articles. The most used method of implementation was education. All studies aimed to assess change in clinical practices. Most used research method was an inquiry. Implementation research in Finland is scarce and quantitative results have rarely been significant. The framework is suitable for classifying implementation studies, but more experience is needed for its suitability as a tool for planning and execution of implementation research.
